Goldsmiths, University of London
Following a competitive tender, Cad-Capture has been selected by Goldsmiths, University of London to provide sensor technology to display real-time availability for approximately 700 study spaces within its library. Goldsmiths is a UK top-50 higher education institute with over 8,000 students and a constituent within the University of London. As was the case with its UoL partner, Birkbeck, the deployment of OccupEye will enable students to view live data of available space on each floor within the library. Using computers and smart devices, students will be able to easily access live floor plans, as well as at-a-glance information on screens outside the library. The sensors will help the staff identify the most popular areas utilised by students, with this data provided by highly accurate analytics and reports; they will also know when there is a surge in demand. This OccupEye deployment will allow Goldsmiths, University of London to maximise its library space and enhance the student experience.
Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
This month we are delighted to provide yet another example of the success and scalability of our innovative sensor technology, OccupEye. A further 250 sensors have been installed at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s premises, taking the deployment total to 300 sensors. The Trust is clearly experiencing the full benefit of our workspace monitoring solution! The Trust employs around 8,000 staff, providing mental health, intellectual disability and community healthcare services in Nottinghamshire. OccupEye continues to allow the staff at the Trust to use space more efficiently, saving valuable NHS time and money.
Manchester City Council
Working in partnership with Faithful+Gould, Cad-Capture has been commissioned by Manchester City Council to undertake measured building surveys and CAD updates for a number of corporate properties. Our wealth of knowledge in a number of asset management databases and proven track record were key factors in the award of this contract. The council will receive data-rich intelligent CAD drawings compatible with the authority’s Concerto P2 (C-Pad) Asset Management Database, guaranteeing ultimate usability of all captured survey data.
London Borough of Hackney
Continuing a long standing successful partnership, The London Borough of Hackney has commissioned Cad-Capture to undertake measured building surveys on over 30 properties across the region.
Surrey County Council
Following a competitive tender, Cad-Capture has been appointed by Surrey County Council to carry out Landscape CAD Surveys for a number of sites across the county, continuing a long and successful partnership. The results from the survey will provide the Council with invaluable information regarding ground maintenance of each site in accordance with RICS guidelines.
Birkbeck, University of London Networking Seminar
On June 9th, Cad-Capture held a networking seminar at Birkbeck, University of London. Neil Steele, (Head of Sales & Marketing) and Andrew Butterworth (Lead Account Manager) provided a seminar focused on our innovative workspace utilisation sensor solution and its positive impact at Birkbeck. The session was tremendously well received by delegates from both the private and public sectors, some of whom travelled across the country to learn more about OccupEye and take advantage of the excellent networking opportunity.
Westminster City Council
We are delighted to announce that Westminster City Council has commissioned Cad-Capture to undertake land and building surveys for the Coroner’s Court. Using the very latest surveying technology, our expert team of surveyors will carry out topographical, elevation and section surveys in accordance with RICS guidelines. Our output will provide property managers at the council with highly accurate and detailed plans.
St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
This month we are pleased to add another Merseyside NHS Trust, St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, to our growing list of OccupEye health sector clients. With over 7,000 staff, the Trust provides a full range of acute healthcare services including inpatient, outpatient, maternity and emergency services. Our advanced sensor technology will help the Trust to improve space utilisation within its workspace, meeting and consulting rooms, consequently reducing unused space and saving valuable NHS time and money.
Biggest OccupEye order so far!
September was a landmark month for Cad-Capture! Following a competitive tender process, OccupEye was selected by one of the world’s most prestigious financial services organisations to deploy sensor technology across 40,000 workspaces. This project confirms both the proven ROI benefits of space utilisation sensing and OccupEye’s status as a global best-in-class solution.
London Borough of Southwork via Faithful+Gould
Working in partnership with Faithful+Gould, Cad-Capture has been commissioned by London Borough of Southwark to provide land surveying and CAD professional services; these will assist in preparing Section 77 Notices for 86 schools in the borough. Cad-Capture’s wealth of knowledge and proven track record were key factors in the award of this contract.
The results from the survey will provide London Borough of Southwark with highly accurate site capacity plans in line with the May 2015 DfE/EFA guidance publication “Disposal or change of use playing field and school land”.
University of Kent
Cad-Capture has secured an exciting tender award this month from the University of Kent. OccupEye will be used to display live space availability information for 600 study spaces within the university library. The sensors will help both students and staff to easily identify available study spaces, with the university able to analyse peaks and troughs thanks to OccupEye’s highly accurate analytics and reporting features.
With over 6,000 students, the University of Kent is one of the UK’s leading academic institutions, producing world-class research and rated ‘excellent’ internationally. By deploying OccupEye, this forward-thinking institution will be able to maximise its library space and enhance the overall student experience.
Health Education England
Health Education England (HEE) has recently joined our growing list of OccupEye health sector clients. The organisation provides national leadership and coordination for education and training within the public health workforce throughout England.
HEE, which employs around 2,000 people in various roles including leadership, education and support, now has 170 OccupEye sensors installed across workspaces and meeting rooms at its premises in Cambridge. This deployment is helping to accurately identify areas of underutilised space, saving vast sums of money in the process.
